Turkish Ice Cream
I was at the Bata shop in Sungei Wang the other day, when I saw this group of shoppers who were deeply indulged in their ice cream. I immediately bugged my mum that I want a cone of those too! Mum thought it was McDonalds ice cream at first, but I told her that McDonalds ice cream doesnt look as yummy as this!
We both decided to go around to scout for the ice cream stall, sensing that it was definitely nearby as many shoppers on that floor were holding a cone too! And, WE FOUND IT! It's right at the door steps of Nam Heong Chicken Rice Shop (next to Esquire Kitchen).
The stall is managed by this Turkish guy, and he's SUPER PLAYFUL! I had to say "Thank You" 3 times in order to get my ice cream from him, while he played deaf with me.
While Kimchi's mum was about to take the ice cream from him, he avoided her hand and stretched his hands far away from her so that she couldnt reach for the ice cream. Her mum had to tip toe and stretched out her arms to snatch the ice cream away from him! LOL!
Sometimes, just when you are so close in getting your ice cream, he would twist and turn the ice cream away from you too! Such a clown!
He has this unique way of mixing the ice cream, which is by using this really long metal stick to stir the ice cream. My favourite part of eating this ice cream is that it doesnt melt that easily, and it has a really great texture!
Kimchi told me that his specialities are the 3 flavours in the bucket (Vanilla, Durian and Chocolate) - RM3 per scoop. However, if you were to order those 3 flavours, the minimum scoop would be 2 scoops - RM5 for 2scoops. But, you can request for a mix flavours too!
There is also a Turkish Ice Cream stall in MidValley =D
